Who Is Efi Love Light?

Hi, I’m Efi.

I am a traveller, a songwriter, light warrior and a language-cultures nerd. I am also a self-healing coach, a yoga and aerial teacher, and meditation facilitator. My classes are all about getting in tune with your body, finding peace and relaxation, gaining balance and processing emotions through physical exercises, breath work and affirmations. All my sessions include meditation and guided relaxation with a mantra, sang by me with love 🙂

Yoga Is The Knowledge Of Life

You probably heard it already – Yoga is a great way to boost your immune system, strengthen your body, and even heal injuries and chronic pain. And it is true! I did it myself. I healed my back injury with yoga and aerial movement. Many people around the world can attest to how yoga has changed their lives. If you’re still wondering why, let’s dive a little deeper.

Yoga is a union between the body, mind and spirit. This means that the main goal of traditional yoga practice is not only to gain physical benefits, but also to create a deeper connection with our bodies and ourselves, and to relieve stress and tension in the body and mind.

Originally, or from the spiritual aspect, yoga was given to the world as a tool to help keep people away from their egos. To educate them to better themselves. To make them more aware of their surroundings and community, and help them achieve deep spiritual enlightenment. Of course, this does not stop with physical practice, but begins with it as a guide and continues with many other guidelines on every aspect of life. If you ever want to dive deeper into the yoga philosophy, I’ll be happy to share with you more 🙂

Over the years, the knowledge of yoga has evolved throughout the world as a means to heal pain and injuries, reduce stress, and strengthen the body to prevent pain and diseases.

This approach is also closely related to Ayurveda, the knowledge of life, which is also about preventing disease first and then curing them if they come. Only by better nutrition of the body, and by better behaviours.

What Style Of Yoga Can You Learn With me?

With my guidance, you can dive deep into the essence of yoga and movement in general. You’ll learn about Ayurveda, the power of mantras and sound healing. My classes are also always comes with powerful affirmations and various meditations, which I always tailor personally to my student’s needs. I also offer aerial movement for healing and strengthening. You can either join a group class in Vienna or online, or book a personal session. When we meet personally, even online, it can basically be anything you need – related to yoga, self-growth and self-healing.

If we try to name the closest style of yoga I teach, I can say that I am very influenced by the traditional Hatha yoga path. I live by it and this is my personal life guide. However, my classes are always more focused on somatic movement, yoga therapy approach and restorative yoga. I believe everyone should have this knowledge. To be able to heal themselves consistently, only by moving the right move when needed. With that being said, I always adapt the level and style of class to my students. So if needed, I can also challenge you with some good old hatha yoga asanas or vinyasa flow, that will strengthen your body as well as allow you to control your weight and mobility.

What’s About Aerial Movement? What’s Included?

Aerial Movement with the Althea is a free motion practice. It is similar to Aerial Yoga, Pilates or other fitness practices, but it is so much more than that.

The Althea Movement method focuses on the free movement of the body with a great support. You have six straps, two pillows, two fabric cradles, and a large, long hammock. This hammock, along with the additional straps, is attached to the ceiling, a wooden structure, or metal bars. As opposed to Aerial Silk, for example, which is attached with only one point.

Of course, there are a variety of exercises and asanas in this method of movement, but according to the method here, the most important thing is the dynamic flow, shifting between positions and finding the way your body wants to move.

With the incredible support of the Althea, you can reach every muscle in your body, even muscles you don’t normally reach in a regular yoga or aerial yoga practice. In addition, the Althea movement allows deep tissue stretches which enhance flexibility, overall balance, and inner peace.

What’s The Best Part?

But the biggest advantage of Aerial Movement with the Althea is that you can do anything you want with it. From fitness, power practices and toning exercises to yoga, Pilates and even pain relief. This yoga swing can really supports you to release aches and pains that may occur in your body from time to time. You can also use Aerial Movement as therapy after injuries or for chronic pain release, with the right guidance of course. *If you have a special need, and you want to give it a try – please feel free to contact me! Don’t worry, you don’t have to be strong or flexible enough to start Aerial Movement. You can start at any exercise level and increase your practice depending on your pace and physical capacity.

The Althea is a unique self-practice trapeze carefully and thoughtfully designed by me, Efi Love Light, a professional aerial instructor and yoga therapy teacher. It is made of a strong, durable parachute fabric and comes with additional straps, cushions, and cradles. This special design ensure a comfortable practice, even if you are in pain. The Althea comes in colourful colours, along with inspirational videos, a carrying bag and two 1.5 metre daisy chains. So basically you can start practising anytime, anywhere, even at home!
